Putting the Caring back into Care Â鶹ԼÅÄs

After the death of the actress, Dame Dorothy Tutin, her daughter Amanda Waring sold her flat to raise funds for a short film inspired by the poor way that her mother and other people were treated in hospital. Now Waring is making two more films looking at the process of going into a care home. As part of Radio 4’s Social Care season, Amanda reflects on why she decided to make the trilogy and what she hopes people will get from her films. Jenni is also joined byÌýAnnie Stevenson, Senior Policy Advisor at Help the Aged, specialising in Health and Social Care.
