The Strangford Shore
This week Lionel Kelleway meets up with marine naturalist Pat Boaden on the shores of Strangford Lough.Ìý
Ìý
Strangford Lough is a large, shallow sea inletÌýon the east coast of County Down in Northern Ireland.
Ìý
It's an important place for marine invertebrates, algae and salt marsh plants; for wintering and breeding wetland birds and mammals.
Pat and Lionel find peacock worms, brittle starfish and the intriguing electric bulb sea-squirt, amongst the rocks of Strangford.
