James Perry

Long before Euro 96 began 23 year oldΒ James had sent off for tickets for games being played at his local ground, Villa Park.Β He eventually found himself booked in to watch the June 18th Scotland v Switzerland match: which as cruel fate would have it was taking place on the same day as his own team - England - was clashing with Holland no less at Wembley. So, big, big, big match at Wembley and he's trogging along to Villa Park to watch a match in which he has no more than an aesthetic interest.

James tells DavidΒ how he resolved the dilemma by using cutting edge technology which inadvertantly made him the hero of the Scottish crowd.
