Listen to the item

When she was little Gaynor Renwick formed a strong bond with her granddad, Fred Davies. It was rooted in their mutual love of horses. Fred would tell her tales of one horse in particular – a sickly foal most people would have written off.  Gaynor came into the studio to pass on grandad’s story.
