Four Radio 4 presenters - Evan Davis, Libby Purves, Laurie Taylor and Peter White - were mentored in the art of stand-up, and then took to the stage at the Comedy Cafe in a final show down. Listeners decided who became Radio 4's funniest voice by a telephone vote that ran from 2pm 8 March to midnight, Wednesday 11 March, with Peter White being declared the winner. Proceeds from the vote raised money for Comic Relief.
