Wordsworth's Sausages
by Nelson G

sausageThis parody of is from The Fantasy Archers topic of .

I wandered lonely as a pig
(so hard to stop in passages)
When all at once I danced a jig
- the thought of sizzling sausages
Beside the eggs, beneath the sauce
all branded "Tom Archer" of course

Arcs as far as the eye can see
(mobile housing for free range swine)
Fields of pigs rooting happily
A business that will be all mine
Ten thousand saw I at a glance
before my eyes the pound signs dance

My Uncle Brian agreed to pay
(I was quick to take his money)
An Archer could not be but gay
to run a porcine company
I whined and whined, my only thought
What wealth to me the business brought.

Now Uncle Brian's being so cruel
And Brenda sends text messages
but I abide by just one rule
- Nothing before the sausages
I must take them back to Bridge Farm
Keep the sausages safe from harm
