The Cuckoo's in the Nest

 The prolific Mr Snowy posted this parody of the Irish folk song Whiskey in The Jar to the Fantasy Archers topic of . To be sung with gusto (and a pint of Shires in your hand):
As I was out a-walking by the church of St Stephen
I came on Adam Macy and, my word, how he was seething
He first berated Brian "Once again he has deceived me"
He started then on Ruairi "He's a cuckoo, please believe me"

I listened to his troubles and they made an awful story
It seems the poor wee darling has to share Â鶹ԼÅÄ Farm with Ruairi
But if he keeps on moaning Brine will change what he's bequested
He'll leave poor Ad with nothing but the ruddy poo digester
I thought about Brine's money and it made a pretty penny
I thought about his children, one by Shove and two by Jenny
Deb's dad was Travers-Macy who like Brian was a baddy
Lord knows who fathered Adam though some claim that it was Paddy
Now some folk take delight in the darts or drinking cider
Whilst others take delight in old Peg (I can't abide her)
But Brian takes delight in pitting sister against brother
And seeing who'll be first to go bleating to their mother
T'was just the other morning, that Brine met with his lawyer
His wife learned what his plan was and she swore it would destroy her
"You promised half to Debbie and you promised half to Adam
I've always cursed the day you first set eyes upon that Madam"
If anyone can aid Ad it's his sister with the Magyars
They'll put their heads together; they might counter Brian's dodges
But if he stands by Ruairi, both their shares he could sequester
And Jenn might find him floating face down in the poo digester
