llamaThis extract from the Fantasy Archers topic of reveals the real reason why Sam and Ruth's planned night of passion came to nothing.

"Made eet," shouted Wolfgang, throwing himself into the guard's van of the milk train and pulling Constanza in after him. "Phew! Thad was close run theeng!"

The two llamas settled down and tried to make themselves as comfortable as they could.

"Eet beet chillee een here," remarked Constanza, "Good job we breeng our hads and scarfs, no?"

"An' efen bedder, I breeng thees!" said Wolfgang, producing a bottle of champagne from his backpack, "Eet seem pitee leaf eet, afder all ice I haf to breeng up - wheech reemind me, now I can take thees off." He carefully removed one of Constanza's black ribbons which was tied in a bow around his neck. "I theenk nobodee see through our deesguises!"

"No," agreed Constanza, "Bud eet was moss odd hotel. Thad reecepcíonest, for eggsample, you know I certain she nod French, her accent nod quide right…"

Wolfgang popped the cork on the bottle, took a swig and passed it to Constanza.

"Here to veree successful oudcome! Cheers."

"Salud," said Constanza, following suit.

They sat happily sipping the champagne as the train chugged through the English countryside.

"You know," said Wolfgang, after a few minutes, "You ought dress up more ofden as chambermaid, you look quide good een thad oudfeet."

"Hmm - those suspenders nearlee keell me though! An' those shoes nod ad all comfortable - steell, eet veree kind of Caroline lend eet me."

There was a pause as both llamas became lost in there own private thoughts.

"I theenk eet my imitacíon of Peep thad cleench eet," announced Constanza, "Eet was thad slighd catch een voice I sure."

"You eggsellent! Eenfacd, to congratulade you, led me preesent you weeth thees!" so saying, Wolfgang withdrew a large bouquet of roses from his bag, "Bee careful, they dreepeeng a bid"

"You know, almoss I feel sorree for SlimeeSam. He wend so much trouble."

"Doan worree, none of eet wasted. I efen take free shampoo and soap from bathroom - an' you muss admeet, the bed was veree comfortable, efen eef eet was onlee for few hours."

"I wonder where he go? Wolfgang, you nod theenk he follow Ourruthee?"

"I doubt eet," said Wolfgang, once again rummaging in his back pack and holding up a bunch of wires, "Eet nod for notheeng, I watch Sound of Museec everee Chreesmas!"
