A favourite song:

I've chosen 'Ode to Hafez', a special song to mark the start of Spring. Iranians celebrate their New Year for 13 days ending at Easter when everything is closed for the holiday. We all spring-clean. The celebrations date from 2,600 years before the advent of Islam. There exists scripted traditional Persian music dating back to this time including this song. The lyrics say, 'Enjoy good company in a garden at Spring. What's the Saki (the person who brings good wine) waiting for? Where ever you may be, no-one knows what tomorrow will bring.'
