Mark One is a member of UKG crew the Virus Syndicate, a collective of MCs and DJs from Manchester that has included Dre, Nika D, Shado Shado, Rimic, Goldfinger, Plasticman and DJ CB amongst others.

Mark One has decribed Virus Syndicate as producing "something between Garage, Breakbeat, Dubstep, Tech Step, Drum and Bass, Breakstep and whatever else you can think of..." but he is perhaps best known for his early Drum and Bass output, and most recently Grime.

For his Maida Vale session, Mark One was joined by 3 Virus Syndicate MCs - JSD, Nika D, Goldginger.
