Band Aid 40 years on
Bob Geldof on the new ultimate mix version of Do They Know Its Christmas and the charity 40 years on. Plus, music from Juice Wrld, Taylor Swift, Tom Grennan and festive classics.
Forty years ago musicians Bob Geldof and Midge Ure formed the Band Aid charity with the aim of getting a number of hit musicians at the time to record a song to help starving children in Africa. The project raised millions and the song Do They Know Its Christmas has been re-recorded three times since and now a new ultimate mix has been released. Bob Geldof tells us all about the new version and the charity 40 years on.
We also featuring music from Juice Wrld, Taylor Swift, Tom Grennan and welcome back a number of festive classics as the race for the Christmas Number One begins.
