Lulaβs 'zero deforestation' plan for the Amazon
Following Brazilβs presidential election, we examine the shrinking size of the worldβs largest tropical rainforest. Can Lula Da Silva save it?
Lula Da Silva has pledged βzero deforestationβ in the Amazon as he prepares to become Brazilβs next president, in contrast to the policies of outgoing leader Jair Bolsonaro under whom the destruction of the rainforest has soared.
