DJ Edu will be finding out what makes Nigerian rapper Ladipoe tick, as well as playing new tunes from Eritrea and Namibia as part of his 10-in-10 mix.
Ladipoe calls himself leader of the revival, and he’s making himself heard even in Nigeria’s crowded musical landscape. He was the first rapper to be signed by legendary afrobeats producer Don Jazzy, and he’s one of those shaping the new, more melodic Nigerian sound. His latest song Feeling is a huge hit.
