Bahjat and Sintex
DJ Edu showcases music by two rising stars from Libya and Rwanda.
A double dose of up and coming talent this week, both artists proving there’s musical light shining in some of the most unlikely corners of the African continent.
Bahjat is from Libya. He moved to Sweden to study at a pop academy near the Arctic Circle, and already has several huge hits in the Arabic speaking world.
And in Rwanda, Sintex is winning fans with his Afro-dancehall songs, one of which, Calculator, is all about how his other half has to keep a careful eye on his spending.
Of course, DJ Edu also has ten of the continent’s hottest new tracks for you.
