Cleo Ice Queen
Zambian rapper Cleo Ice Queen chats to DJ Edu about working her brand, and the importance of education if you want to be taken seriously.
Cleo Ice Queen became a household name across Africa in 2013 when she represented Zambia in the TV show Big Brother Africa. She’d already established herself as a successful rap artist, and in 2015 she was named best female artist from southern Africa at the Afrimma African Muzik Magazine Awards. Her latest single, Sensation, was released just before Covid 19 caused countries around the world to go into lockdown.
In a wide ranging chat with DJ Edu from her home in Lusaka, Cleo talks about working her brand, her love of kids, and the importance of education if you want to be taken seriously.
