DJ Edu’s guest is Nigerian superstar and entrepreneur Mr Eazi. Mr Eazi, self-styled Jay Z of Africa, tells Edu what motivated him to set up his emPawa project. It is a record label, but also aims to do what it says on the tin - empower up and coming African musicians to get ahead and take control of their careers.
The TIA spotlight is shined on an exceptionally inspiring and energetic young woman from Namibia. Lioness has several hit songs to her name and some slick videos. She is also a qualified and practising medical doctor.
