The UN-sanctioned mission in Haiti was meant to be a multi-nation effort with a contingent of 2,500 soldiers from seven different countries led by the Kenyan police. Six months later, only 400 Kenyan police officers have been deployed and the mission remains seriously underfunded. We speak to our reporter who spent time embedded with the Kenyan forces.
