Richer countries agree to raise their contribution to $300bn a year by 2035
A finance deal reached at the COP29 summit in Azerbaijan to help less-developed countries tackle climate change has been bitterly criticised for failing to meet the scale of the challenge. We talk to those who support it and those who say it is a βslap in the faceβ.
