The European Commission has revealed a proposal to reduce reliance on Russian energy.

The European Commission has revealed a proposal to reduce reliance on Russian energy. There's an increased focus on renewable energy sources such as solar and wind, and we get reaction from Giles Dickson, chief executive of the group Wind Europe. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Adrienne Murray reports on a scheme to boost North Sea wind energy production. And we hear from Anna Borg, chief executive of Swedish state owned energy company Vattenfall, which is already investing in North Sea wind projects. Also in the programme, a judge in California has thrown out legislation that required publicly listed companies to ensure a certain level of female representation on their boards. We find out more from Laura Whitcombe, global campaign manager of the 30% Club, which campaigns for more gender diversity in companies. Plus, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Mariko Oi meets some of the young people choosing to engage in high risk cryptocurrency markets.
