Large-scale protests over the soaring cost of fuel have broken out in Bangladesh. The government increased the cost of petrol and diesel by more than 50% over the weekend. We speak to industrial economist Dr Khondaker Golam Moazzem in Dhaka.

Two more ships carrying grain have left Ukraine. Their departure means 10 ships have now left the Black Sea ports since last week, when a deal was brokered to move an estimated 18 million metric tons of grains that have been trapped in Ukraine since Russia鈥檚 invasion in February.
