Kwasi Kwarteng's swift downfall
Kwasi Kwarteng has become Britain's second shortest-serving chancellor
The downfall of Kwasi Kwarteng is one of the fastest in British political history, following a poorly named mini-budget which appear to have undermined years of Conservative economic strategy.

China’s President Xi Jinping is expected to be appointed leader of the Chinese Communist party next week in his bid to extend his tenure as leader for a third term, but he faces enormous economic challenges as youth unemployment reaches a record high and growth an historic low.
