A new report from the World Health Organization has found that a third of all women experience physical or sexual violence at some point in their lives. The report is the largest ever study of violence against women, and includes data from the years 2000 to 2018. In Mexico thousands marched in the capital Mexico City angry that the president Andr茅s Manuel L贸pez Obrador, know as AMLO, has failed to live up to his promises on women's rights.

A leading international agency has upgraded its forecast for global growth for this year. The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development said the world economy is likely to expand by 5.6% in 2021, and its chief economist Laurence Boone explains why the OECD believes prospects for growth are looking rosier.
