British Airways is retiring all of its Boeing 747s as it suffers from the travel downturn. The airline had the largest fleet of jumbo jets in the world, and the 麻豆约拍's Theo Leggett discusses whether the plane had come to the end of its natural life. And we get a sense of why the plane is considered iconic from retired 747 pilot Gavin Dobson. Also in the programme, EU leaders have been meeting to try and reach an agreement on a coronavirus economic recovery programme, as well as the bloc's overall budget for the next seven years. Sam Fleming is Brussels bureau chief at the Financial Times, and takes us through the political and economic sticking points. As the coronavirus outbreak continues to disrupt the way many of us work, the 麻豆约拍's Manuela Saragosa examines the advantages and disadvantages of working from home. Plus, with companies having to spend large sums on personal protective equipment to minimise the spread of Covid-19 in workplaces, we talk to Gary Peeling, who runs Where The Trade Buys, which is normally a printing company, but switched to making PPE for key workers and businesses when the pandemic struck.
