In several parts of the United States, the number of people catching coronavirus is on the rise. Arizona, South Carolina and Florida are some of the states where cases have jumped over the past week, just as Florida governor Ron DeSantis announces schools will reopen. Julie Glenn is News Director at WGCU in Fort Myers, describes how Florida residents are reacting to easing of lockdown, and how they feel about a possible second wave. And Cary Leahy of Decision Economics talks about how the markets have reacted to those same worries. Also in the programme, after four rounds of negotiation, the Brexit trade deal talks between the UK and EU appear to have stalled. Lance Forman is a former MEP for the Brexit party, and owner of H Forman and Sons which smokes salmon in East London. He argues that an extension to the transition period during which Britain negotiates a trade deal would be counterproductive. Barbara Moens is trade reporter for Politico in Brussels, and explains where the UK and EU are in disagreement. And Dave Roberts, owner of car parts maker Rimstock, says that the current uncertainty over a trade deal, combined with the coronavirus pandemic, is making business very difficult. Plus, we travel to Alicante on the Spanish coast, to hear from project manager Yago Sierras, about Europe's largest drive-in cinema, Cinemacar, which is about to open there.
