The US government is the biggest single buyer of goods and services in the world. China's President Xi Jinping addressed global leaders at a virtual meeting of the World Economic Forum - and warned the world of the dangers of a new 'cold war'. Meanwhile, the United Nations says the equivalent of 255 million full-time jobs were lost last year as economies were shut down and businesses went under. That figure is four times greater than the number of jobs lost during the global financial crisis just over a decade ago.
