The electoral race in Georgia will shape American politics for the next two years

The US state of Georgia is going to the polls for a second-round vote and at stake is whether President-elect Joe Biden's Democrats control the Senate. In an extended report, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Fergus Nicoll looks at the forces in play behind the electioneering. Also in the programme, the World Bank has said that any recovery in the global economy is dependent on the roll out of successful vaccines and has predicted 4% growth in the coming year - we hear from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Andrew Walker. Plus, Singapore has confirmed its law enforcers will be able to access the country's coronavirus contact tracing data to help criminal investigations.
