Former foreign secretary Boris Johnson attacked UK government plans for a Brexit deal. Our reporter at the Conservative party conference in Birmingham has been gauging reaction from the business community to Mr Johnson's intervention. Plans in Italy to increase the country's budget deficit have been criticised by the president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.
