Catholic Church Disputes DRC Vote Results

They said the official figures were at odds with those compiled by its election observers.

The opposition leader, Felix Tshisekedi, has been declared the provisional winner of last month's presidential election in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The country's electoral commission said he won almost 39% of the vote, well ahead of the man who had been leading the polls, Martin Fayulu.
