Nine pro-democracy campaigners in Hong Kong have gone on trial on public order charges. They include the founders of the Occupy movement, which challenged China's control of the territory; President Trump says he's been fully briefed about an audio tape of the murder of the Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, but doesn't want to listen to it himself; and a study has provided further evidence that severe allergy to peanuts can be overcome by gradually building up tolerance.
