More Deaths Confirmed in California Wildfires
Authorities in California have found the remains of another 13 people
The authorities in Northern California say they have found the remains of another thirteen people killed by the worst wildfire in the history of the state. It brings the total known to have died in the blaze in and around the town of Paradise to 42.
The UN is warning of catastrophic consequences for the Yemen if the port city of Hodeidah is destroyed. At least 100 people are reported to have been killed in 24 hours of clashes in the residential areas of the city.
A 20 year old woman in El Salvador is due to face trial for the attempted murder of her baby, under the country's strict abortion laws - despite police officers finding the baby alive and well. She gave birth after being raped by her elderly stepfather. The trial has been suspended until next month, because the judge said he felt ill.
