The Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a lawsuit accusing Tesla boss Elon Musk of securities fraud.The US financial regulator says Mr Musk's claims that he had secured funding to take the electric carmaker private were "false and misleading". We hear from professor John Coffee, an expert in securities law at Columbia Law School.
One of the biggest oil companies in the world, Brazil's Petrobras, has agreed to pay millions of dollars to settle a corruption investigation in the United States, where the company is listed.
We get the latest from the dramatic US Senate committee meeting, the outcome of which will decide the makeup of the US Supreme Court. The Republicans want Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump's nominee to the Supreme Court, to get the life-long appointment.The Democrats are trying to block him. Senators have been listening to Christine Blasey Ford, a university professor who's alleged that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while they were teenagers. Judge Kavanaugh has branded the confirmation process "a national disgrace", and a circus.
Also in the programme, academics are calling on the UK to follow Australia and New Zealand in banning companies from selling essays to students.
