Tunisians Protest Austerity Measures

There have been riots in at least a dozen towns and cities across the country.

Protesters are on the streets of the capital Tunis again today to voice their opposition to new government austerity measures.

There have been riots in at least a dozen towns and cities across the country over the past few days. Police have fired tear gas and rubber bullets. On Tuesday, a crowd stormed a branch of the French supermarket chain Carrefour in the capital. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Rana Jawad tells us more from Tunis.
