Apple Admits to Slowing Down iPhones

Older iPhones are made to run more slowly to stop the battery failing too quickly.

Apple confirms the suspicions of many iPhone users by revealing that they deliberately impair the performance of older models, in order to stop the battery from running out too quickly.
