Sarah-Jane Crawford is the host of Radio 1Xtra's weekday afternoon show (Monday-Friday,1pm-4pm), bringing listeners the hottest music, entertainment news, and all of the favourites from the world of TV and online.

Originally born in London, Sarah-Jane moved to Cambridgeshire with her family when she was 12. Whilst studying for her degree in Marketing she developed a love for music and performance by attending weekend drama classes and travelling as part of an acoustic duo.

Sarah-Jane started her career at 1Xtra in October 2008 as a stand in DJ for ad hoc shows. Since then she has presented her own shows across the network, including the weekend breakfast show and the weekend afternoon show, where Sarah-Jane ran down the official 1Xtra chart and hosts the network's first Book Club.

Sarah-Jane has a wealth of broadcasting experience under her belt, having presented for MTV - backstage at the EMA's and MTV meets Usher, Disney - My Camp Rock 2 and for E4 music. During her career she has interviewed some of the biggest names in film and music including Robert De Niro, Kings of Leon, Pussycat Dolls and Usher.

She is the current voice of the MTV charts.
