Robbie Savage

The 606 presenter on what he hopes will be his second victory at Wembley Stadium

Robbie Savage is one of British football's most recognisable figures, following a high-profile 18-season career.

Wembley Stadium was kind to me when I played there during my career. Let’s hope lady luck is on my side this time.

He played for six clubs - Crewe Alexandra, Leicester City, Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers, Derby County and Brighton - and represented Wales 39 times.

Robbie now co-presents football phone-in 606 on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 live on Saturday evenings, and also appears as a pundit across ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Sport's radio and television output.

In 2012 Robbie helped John Bishop on a leg of his Sport Relief 'Week of Hell', when the comedian cycled, rowed and ran over 290 miles from Paris to London.

Robbie now takes part in his own Sport Relief challenge at a venue that holds fond memories for him: he won the League Cup with Leicester City at Wembley in 2000.

β€œAlan does have an advantage as his butt is larger than mine, but my bottom is ready for the challenge!

"I’ve often watched Sport Relief and seen all the vulnerable people living difficult lives and really wanted to help to raise money for them – who knew, it would be my bottom raising cash.

"Wembley Stadium was kind to me when I played there during my career. Let’s hope lady luck is on my side this time."
