The band were formed at the Girl Dance group auditions

AislΓ, 18

Aislí lives in Killiney, South Dublin with her family. her ballroom dancing grandparents live nearby, they inspired her to be a performer. Aislí loves to dance and goes to weekly classes.

She LOVES Little Mix, and Jade is her fave, she loves her quirky style and used to style herself on Jade when she was little! She’s seen the girls in concert with her mum quite a few times.

Q: You’re more than bandmates, you’re now also housemates – how has that been so far?

“We are having such a good time in the house. We are all a bit crazy so we are always laughing and joking around and having fun all the time. I think it’s great because me and the girls are so similar but also different so all of our personalities gel really well together. We definitely each have a different role in the house, Liv is the mum, Lauren is the funniest person I’ve ever met, Ellie is the chill and sensible one, Megs is the clumsy one and I’m probably a bit of the messy one or the baby as the girls like to call me.”

Ellie, 18

Ellie lives with her mum and two brothers in Bournemouth. When she was working at a local supermarket the only way she could get through a shift was by hiding her headphones under her hair to listen to music!

She is a huge Little Mix fan and went to see them when she was 10, and even waited outside to see them board the tour bus.

Q: How was it performing in front of Little Mix?

“I can’t even describe the feeling of performing in front of Little Mix, it was honestly a dream come true. I remember watching them in concert and never would I ever of thought I would get the chance to perform in front of them, let alone them like me!”

Lauren, 19

Lauren from Croydon, is a theatre student studying dance and fashion.

She began performing after her grandad aka the ‘Karaoke King’ encouraged her to get on stage to do karaoke on a family holiday, she has been singing ever since!

Q: Do you ever get stage fright?

“I come across really confident but before I go on stage I low-key have a meltdown for a few minutes but then I pull myself together and kill the game. Always! I feel like I become a different person on stage… well, not a different person but a bigger better person of myself.”

Liv, 18

Liv grew up singing in her local church choir singing Gospel music. Spotted by Pauline Quirke whilst she was performing with her school on the West End, Liv was offered a full scholarship to her academy.

She is very close to her family, her brother is her best friend; they spend a lot of time together, having dinners and evenings in.

When Liv isn’t at home in Essex, she’s out eating food with her friends, “food is at the centre of my social life!”

Q: What has the reaction been like from your friends and family?

“My close friends and family are sooo excited. They’ve always told me to enter a TV competition but for me, this show is just perfect; and it came at the perfect time in my life! Being in a group is so much fun and the girls are my best friends. Knowing that Little Mix has been through the process of being put together in a band is even better because they use the experiences they’ve had to give us such important advice.”

Megan, 18

Megan from Dublin has been singing and dancing from a very young age.

She gives back to her community by running free dance classes at weekends, aiming to get kids off the street by giving them somewhere to go. Megan has recently graduated from studying Performing Arts at college, and now works there part time as a receptionist alongside her dance teaching.

Q: Who are the influences for your band?

“Our biggest influence for our band is definitely Little Mix. They’ve just got the whole package really. They’re so individually diverse and each bring something special to the band. Watching their live performances and seeing how they perform and engage with their audience is so inspiring. The girls and I look up to them so much.”

Q: Have you had any words of encouragement from Little Mix?

“In my first audition, Perrie encouraged me to work on my vocals and I was so glad she told me what I needed to improve on because it really pushed me to work harder and better my voice. I’ve always loved receiving corrections from my singing and dance teachers, I always want to improve and be the best version of myself possible. I was so grateful to receive that note from someone who has had so much experience in this industry and someone who I’ve always looked up to.”
