What's your earliest musical memory?

My earliest memory is getting my hands on a NWA tape 'Straight Outta Compton'. I was about 7-8 and had the cassette on replay on my walkman for at least 2 years because I couldn't get my hands on any other Hip Hop. All my friends was listening to Vanilla Ice, Bobby Brown or MJ but I was only interested in NWA. I would pretend to be Ice Cube and knew all the lyrics back to front... Come to think of it those lyrics got me in quite a bit of trouble at school! But it was this tape that gave me my direction in terms of what I wanted to be when I grew up!

What's your favourite fancy dress theme and why?

My favourite fancy dress theme has to be famous people past and present because you can bet your life at least four girls will turn up as Marilyn Monroe and I love a bit of Marilyn!!

How do you relax?

Relax. What's that??? It's been so long since I got a chance to relax I have forgotten what it is like! When I do get back to being able to relax though I think I'd enjoy just sitting down in a quiet room and reading a book. That's like a mini dream to me but I will wait until I'm retired or a decide to take a holiday.

Dream collaboration?

My Dream Collab would be with Biggie Smalls or John Lennon but neither are with us anymore so I guess it's only ever going to be a dream - but they are two of my all time favourite artists. If I had to choose a living artist I would choose Luda or Busta Rhymes.

What's your biggest achievement so far?

I ask this question to myself quite alot and I can't really decide as I feel I have achieved some great things as both a human being and as an artist, but I'd say its between my two awards in Canada or the fact that I created the most vieweedd online weekly Hip Hop show in the world! Both I am very proud of! Although getting my own show on 1Xtra is up there on my list now!!!

What keeps you awake at night?

I can't really tell you her name...joking! The thought of what I have got to do the next day! Every night when I'm in bed I go through all the things I have to do when I wake up and I try to put them in order so as soon as I wake up I'm on my grind. There are not enough hours in a day!

If music wasn't your first love, what would I be?

That's a good question - if music was not my first love I guess it would have been film - I have a huge passion to write/direct/act. But at the moment my first love is still music - it's like a very addictive drug!

Who is your hero and why?

My hero was my Grandad!! He came to this country with nothing more then the clothes on his back after fighting in a war. He worked against the odds to create a life for his family and at 90 years of age was still a rock and full of great advice! He played a huge part in my self belief and constantly encouraged me to keep pushing myself to be a better person!

If you were an animal what would you be?

I would be a lion! A strong, loyal leader who doesn't fear anything.

If you could introduce someone to Hip Hop what would you play them?

I would give them a copy of Biggie Smalls 'Life After Death'. That album would leave anybody wanting more!!!!
