Stephen Walker

Stephen Walker became a ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ reporter in 1989. Born in England he was educated in Northern Ireland, Northampton and Portsmouth.

He began his journalistic career with ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leeds where he worked as a reporter and producer. Since then he has worked in Belfast as a television and radio news reporter, a documentary maker and a lobby correspondent at Westminster. He has made numerous current affairs and historical documentaries.

He worked as an investigative reporter for Spotlight for 12 years and also worked as Assistant Editor.

From 2001 to 2003 he worked in Westminster as ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Northern Ireland’s London Correspondent where he specialised in political stories.

In 2007 he was series producer for the TV discussion programme β€˜Let’s Talk’. His journalism has been honoured by the Royal Television Society and the Association of European Journalists. In 2005 he was named the Northern Ireland Journalist of the Year.

He became ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Northern Ireland’s Political Reporter in 2009.
