Should skincare products come with age restrictions?

Anti-ageing skincare used to be something only adults were interested in. Now - children as young as eight are buying products intended for much older consumers.

The problem is, some of these creams contain active ingredients that have the potential to harm children’s skin.

Dermatologists have told the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ they’re seeing young patients with dermatitis and, in extreme cases, chemical burns because they’re using products meant for people three times their age.

The biggest pharmacy chain in Sweden, Apotek Hjärtat, has put an age restriction on the sale of some skincare products to stop children buying them - should the rest of the world be following suit?
