Daughter still hopes to find missing father in Syria
Wafa Mustafa’s father, Ali, was dragged from an apartment in Damascus by armed men in 2013 as pro-democracy protests raged in Syria. It was the last time he was seen or heard from by his family.
Wafa's search for her father has come to dominate her life in exile in Germany, where she has also been campaigning to free other people detained in Syria.
Now, following the overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad, she believes there is still a chance of finding her father. She previously spoke to the programme in 2021 about her campaigning.
Weekend's Julian Worricker started by asking her how the last three years have been.
