The great outdoors on prescription in Lincolnshire
Doctors in Lincolnshire are increasingly prescribing nature, outdoor and community activities to tackle mental health issues, according to NHS figures.
Social prescribing is viewed as an alternative to relying solely on medication such as anti-depressants and while critics say there's little evidence to support it, advocates insist that promoting mental wellbeing "creates a new sense of purpose which can't be addressed by medicine alone".
