YouTuber Jake Paul will go head-to-head in the ring with heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson
Why has a boxing bout between Jake Paul and two-time heavyweight legend Mike Tyson led to interest, curiosity and concern?
The fight is controversial considering Tyson is 58 years old and has not fought professionally for 19 years. Paul became of the worldβs most famous YouTubers by creating prank videos before entering the professional ring for the first time in 2020.
Alongside the βinterest and curiosityβ in Tysonβs comeback, boxing reporter Lance Pugmire tells Sport Todayβs Ade Adedoyin why Paul βneeds to be taken seriously as a real legitimate professional boxerβ.
The undercard includes three world-title fights including the highly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano which Pugmire hopes will βtake womenβs boxing to the next level it deservesβ.
