Is red tape killing community Christmas markets?
Excessive health & safety and licensing regulations could lead to fewer community events such as Christmas markets, according to one organiser in Lincolnshire.
Brian Burbidge, who's planning the Horncastle Christmas market, says red tape and insurance costs are making it increasingly difficult to organise, with similar events such as Woodhall Spa's Christmas fair being shelved for 2024.
