Britain's first reggae band The Cimarons star in Harder Than The Rock. The film is the story of three teenage Jamaican Immigrants and their role in the reggae explosion of the 1970's.The band worked with Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, and even Paul McCartney. Locksley Gichie is a founder member of the band, Michael Arkk is the new lead singer. Both speak about the influence of Bob Marley. Harder Than The Rock gets a UK cinema release in October 2024 after appearing at the Sheffield DocFest in June. The film is directed by Mark Warmington, and is made by Margot Films and J6 Films.
