At 16 years and 362 days, Spain's Lamine Yamal became the youngest man to score in European championship history, after netting the equaliser in Spain's semi-final against France.

Yamal has already had a brilliant breakout season at Barcelona, during which he became both their youngest ever player and goalscorer.

He has taken that to the international stage, showing a confidence far beyond his years.

And Spanish football journalist Semra Hunter explained the teenager's meteoric rise and what the national team need to do to prevent him from burning out at a young age.
