Naomi Campbell talks clothes, career and recovery

When she started out you didn’t see black faces on the covers of western magazines; Naomi Campbell was partly responsible for changing that. A new exhibition tells her story.

Naomi Campbell is one of the most beautiful women in the world. A super model and, it’s fair to say, a super star. She has spent much of her career in the limelight, though not always for reasons to do with fashion.

Beyond her beauty she is also cultural icon. When she started out you didn’t see black faces on the covers of western magazines. She was partly responsible for changing that.

Now a new exhibition at the V&A Museum in London tells her story.

The presenter of The World at One, Sarah Montague, sat down for a rare interview with her. This is 5 Minutes On Naomi Campbell, clothes, career and recovery.
