Bernie Collins: 'The first person they want to beat is the driver next to them'

Former F1 strategist Bernie Collins tells Nihal Arthanayake how the β€œhardest bit” of her job was choosing to put drivers on different strategies.

Bernie spoke to Nihal about the release of her new book, β€˜How to Win a Grand Prix’.

β€œYou’re trying to bring out the positives in both strategies but not necessarily convince one guy that he’s on the wrong one”

β€œIt’s an odd dynamic and a lot of psychology goes into that”, Bernie says.
