Human Rights Watch founder accuses Israel of genocide
The Human Rights Watch co-founder, Aryeh Neier, has accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. Mr Neier, who is Jewish and a Holocaust survivor, said Israel had done so by obstructing the delivery of humanitarian assistance to Gaza since the start of the war there. His accusation follows the launching of a case in December by South Africa at the International Court of Justice attempting to prove that Israel was committing genocide in the war against Hamas. Israel has strongly rejected South Africa's allegations. Weekend's Julian Worricker has been speaking to Aryeh Neier.
