Bridport knitters unroll 400 metre scarf
Volunteers at the Bridport community kitchen have handknitted a multicoloured scarf more than 400 metres long.
They are raising money for their community kitchen which supports the homeless and vulnerable as well as running arts and crafts activities.
Supporters have sponsored a square of the scarf each ahead of it’s unfurling at 10 o'clock on the morning of Friday 26th April. They aim to roll it from Beacon Church on Priory Lane up to Bridport Town Hall.
Radio Solent's Steve Harris spoke to one the masterminds of the knitting marathon, Bev Thornton.
