Cumbrian farmers told to plant more trees

Farmers in Cumbria are being told that planting more trees doesn't have to be done at the expense of food production.

The government's Countryside Stewardship Scheme encourages farmers to focus on environmental benefits, such as the expansion of woodlands.

The Woodland Trust in Cumbria is working with farmers like David Corrie-Close, from near Ullswater, and Mark Lee, who farms near Wigton.
